More about me
Our work will be about you, so here's a bit more about me to allow you to decide if we're a good fit.

How I work
I believe in a holistic approach to counselling that takes into account the whole person, including their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. My approach is client-centred, meaning that after an assessment session, we work together in the same time and place (either in person or online) to explore your therapeutic goals. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore thoughts and feelings without judgment or criticism. The exact goal is down to you but essentially I am here to help you achieve long-lasting change and improve your overall quality of life.

My background
A teacher by trade, I then studied at Birkbeck, University of London, followed by the University of Hertfordshire. I hold a psychodynamic post graduate Diploma and a Masters degree in Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling, with a psychodynamic specialism in Attachment Theory. I am accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
As well as private practice, my clinical work includes drug and alcohol treatment centres, university, NHS and third sector settings.
